CHAMPIONSHIPS
Dear Committee Member,
Further to the Executive Committee AGREEMENT to arrange and host a JUNIOR OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS it is incumbent upon us to hold a brief planning meeting rather than leave it as ad hock as we have since the pandemic.
TRADITIONALLY or Historically ::
1. Half Term - 20-24 February 2023
2. Winter Leagues run from October to the end of March each year.
3. Winter Leagues Finals night at the schools 30th March 2023
4. Club Closed Squash Championships are held in April.
5. Half Term - 29 May - 2 June 2023
6. Club Closed Racketball championships are held in May [Each side of the
"Foreign" trip].
7. Annual General Meeting June 2023.
8. Summer Leagues for Squash at the Schools and Racketball at SS&RC are
held in June,July and August
9. Summer Holidays = 25 July -4th September 2023
10. New Subscription Year
11. Club Trios - October/November 2023
12. Half Term - 30th October - 3rd November.
13. Stuart Blaney/ Barry Tweddle Charity Day 28thDecember.
It has been suggested that we hold an Open Senior Championships to coincide with the 10th Anniversary of the construction of Court 3.Into this mix we need to add the proposed Chris Flint Open Junior Championships.
I would be most grateful for any observations on these matters, particularly from Coaches and Captains, and I am equally sure that any help organising any of these events will be very welcome.
