COUNTDOWNS
Information for all Members and a call for volunteers.
COUNTDOWN ONE -- less than 35 hours until the "Closing Time" for Juniors to enter the Chris Flint Junior Open Tournament.
COUNTDOWN TWO -- 7 days to go before we host the Shropshire Inter Counties match versus Cheshire and Wales B.
COUNTDOWN THREE -- 14 days to go before we host the Inaugural Chis Flint Junior Open Tournament which has 27 entrants to date.
The REASON for bringing these items to everyone's attention is simply because they represent opportunities not only to showcase Shrewsbury Squash & Racketball Club, it's facilities and to raise it's public profile.
More importantly, it helps to underwrite the importance of Squash, it's value in demonstrating great sportsmanship and essential encouragement to young players.
Volunteers will be both needed and most welcome to assist in staffing and supervising the activities but also in helping to prepare the glass back wall, our Courts and facilities for these events helping to ensure that all parts of the Club house, including changing rooms are warm, welcoming and clean and create a great impression on all our visitors.
PLEASE, if you can help in any way give your name to any one of GSJ, Lee Picken, Max Lloyd, Laura Mather, Gary Nolan or Lorna Rogers.
