Squash Captains
As all Captains will be aware, last seasons County Winter Leagues were adversely affected by the late withdrawal of some Club Teams.
It has already been suggested that one other Club will withdraw from the County Winter Leagues next season. This could possibly result in a total of 21 teams across the three divisions.
The County League Secretary, Don Wallington, is anxious to do what he can to balance the number of teams across the Divisions; this could possibly result in 7 teams in each division with a shorter playing season.
The purpose of this broadcast to Captains is to give us as a Club the opportunity to consider how many teams we can field in the three divisions.
Please can you discuss this with your team members, the Club Captain and other Captains in order to present our views as a Club to Don Wallington BEFORE mid July 2023.
