Once again I find myself being obliged to apologise for the indifferent turn out for last night's Christmas party.
I am assured that the usual very few uninhibited karaoke addicts enjoyed themselves as did those doing their best to get through the excellent buffet.
The football offering proved not to be a draw; only Howard Jones and myself [neither fans of football] arrived in time to watch the match.
However, I wish to pass on my heartfelt thanks on behalf of the "missing" members for all your hard work in making the evening a success despite the lack of numbers.
One thing, if we are to do it again PLEASE, PLEASE get a small working group to share the workload of setting up and clearing away etc.
