SSRC Championships 2024
Evening all,
This year's draws are now complete and available to view on the mycourts system. As of Monday 29th April, the SSRC Championships 2024 are now underway!
(Paper copies of all draws will be posted on the noticeboards on Monday night)
We have extended the entry date for the ladies competition by two weeks. This is to allow the last minute entries to flood in.
As always, anyone coming second in their first match played, will go into the plate competitions. So there will be eight competitions in total to be contested on finals night.
Championship schedule:
29th Apr to 12th May,
Round one & two of the Squash Closed. Round one of the Nolan-Downing. Round one of the Racketball Closed.
13th May to 26th May.
Round three of, Squash Closed, Nolan-Downing & Racketball. Round one & two of the plate competitions.
27th May to 2nd June
Quarterfinals week & Ladies championships to start.
3rd June to 9th June
Semifinals week
Finals night to be held on the 15th June.
All rounds up to the Quarterfinals are to arranged between the two competitors. Quarterfinals onwards, will be on orginsed nights TBC. We will however, have some championship evenings over the next four weeks to hopefully make it more of an event/social.
I will communicate the bulk of the details via the WhatsApp groups in bitesized chunks to avoid excessive emails.
