RECOVERING FROM THE PANDEMIC
Dear Member
After the Great Fire of London, The Black Plague, the Spanish Flu ands other pandemics, all people showed great resilience and powers of recovery.
We have the opportunity to emulate our forebears to seize the moment to recover Club life as we move forward out of the current Covid-19 lockdown.
Your Committee will be meeting by "ZOOM" on 10th May in preparation for a possible meeting in June and the AGM in July.
We are at the cross roads in that some members have retired from playing, as Officers and Committee Members and it is in YOUR interest that these positions are filled.
After many years of brilliant service Lorna Rogers has decided to hang up her abacus and spend more time with her family.
This is an important post to fill. We must all work together to find a replacement.
I attach a nomination form for all posts and ask, on my bended knee, that everyone asks themselves NOT what the Club does for me, but what can I do for the Club?
I have had my arm twisted. Can I twist yours?
