SSRC Championships 2023

Evening all,

I have had a few queries on eligibility for each tournament.

The Nolan-Downing Trophy
This competition designed for non-team playing members and those wanting to get involved in competition for the first time. So, anyone who has not played in team matches in the last few seasons. This is to be managed with a commonsense approach. (In the spirit of the Nolan-Downing Throphy)

The Squash Closed Championships
This is open to all members. Please note, you can enter both the closed and the Nolan- Downing, if eligible.

The Ladies Squash Closed Championships
This is open to all female members. Again, it is possible to enter in all three, if eligible.

There will be plate competitions for all three, players that loose their first match (whether that's in the first or second round) will automatically be entered, unless you choose otherwise.

I hope this clears things up...

I'd urge all members to get involved, the Championships are only as good as the uptake.

Again, I look forward to seeing you all on court soon.

Any questions?

Thanks,
Pete
